Last Friday, we had the honor of welcoming Lower Saxony’s Minister of Economic Affairs, Olaf Lies, as well as Christoph Willeke (SPD), member of the state parliament, and other regional representatives from politics and business to our new location in Baßgeige. The occasion for this special visit was the ceremonial handover of a grant from the state of Lower Saxony for our new building.
During a short tour of our new production halls, the guests were able to get an idea of our expanded production capacities and the modern, future-oriented processes for manufacturing hydrogen electrolyzers. These new capacities are a clear signal that we are determined to drive forward the hydrogen economy on a large scale.
Green hydrogen: a key to a sustainable energy future
Green hydrogen is considered one of the most important building blocks for a sustainable energy future. It offers the possibility of efficiently storing and transporting renewable energy and can replace fossil fuels in many areas, from industry to transportation. Our new production facility is designed to scale up the production of hydrogen electrolysers and thus make an important contribution to the expansion of the hydrogen infrastructure.
A look into the future
The recognition of our commitment, as expressed by the visit of Olaf Lies and Christoph Willeke, is of great importance to us. It shows that our efforts to drive forward the development of the hydrogen economy have met with broad approval and that we are on the right track. The handover of the funding decision also underlines the importance of hydrogen technology for the future. Another milestone on our way to shaping a sustainable future.
