A strong start to the year: We are delighted to announce that we have received an order for three state-of-the-art gEL 600 electrolysis plants, each with an output of 3 megawatts, for the “Green Hydrogen Hub Stuttgart” (GH2S) project of Stadtwerke Stuttgart. The pioneering plants at the port of Stuttgart with a total output of 9 megawatts will make a significant contribution to the production of green hydrogen, which will be used both for local industry and for mobility in the region.
Stadtwerke Stuttgart is pursuing an ambitious goal with the construction of its Green Hydrogen Hub: the production of green hydrogen from renewable energy sources, which will not only serve local industry and the refueling of commercial vehicles, but will also be fed into the future hydrogen core network that will run past Stadtwerke Stuttgart.
The gEL600, a tried and tested containerized integrated electrolysis system in the 3 MW size class, includes all subsystems for the production of high-purity hydrogen from drinking water as well as medium-voltage and 400V connections. All main components are fully pre-assembled and tested in our production facility before they are delivered to the installation site, installed on site and commissioned. In addition, FEST will ensure the maintenance of the systems as part of a maintenance contract for Stadtwerke Stuttgart.
With this outstanding project, FEST GmbH is continuing its success story and building on the series of high-performance electrolysis plants already delivered and produced in Germany and abroad. As one of the relevant European providers of decentralized H2 solutions in the power classes up to 50 MW, we are thus making a significant contribution to the rapid expansion of the hydrogen infrastructure in Europe.
We are proud to be part of this green revolution and look forward to the successful implementation of this forward-looking project as well as a good and exciting collaboration with our customer!
