Tyczka Hydrogen Awards Contract for 2 x 3 MW PEM Electrolyzers to FEST
A strong signal in support of the energy transition and the importance of regionally produced green hydrogen.
“We are confident in this important project and in our collaboration with a partner who not only invests but also clearly understands why regionally produced green hydrogen is a key element of the energy transition.”
With these words, Matthias Authenrieth and Steffen Bäuerle, together with Thomas Zorn and JĂ¼rgen Schmidt, sealed the partnership at the trade show in Rotterdam.
At the Port of Schweinfurt, Tyczka Hydrogen is implementing the H2 Hub, a comprehensive hydrogen infrastructure spanning production through on-site use. Our gEL600 electrolysis system is designed precisely to meet these requirements: compact in design, engineered for continuous industrial operation, modularly scalable for integration, and proven in applications where reliability is the top priority.
Even during operation, the plant is consistently designed for system integration. It is operated to support the grid, utilizes renewable energy, and is integrated into the regional and national grid infrastructure in such a way that, in the future, electricity from the north—including offshore generation—can also be integrated. The planned design enables hydrogen production on an industrial scale and makes a measurable contribution to CO₂ reduction.
Together with Tyczka Hydrogen, we’re now moving forward with the implementation at a brisk pace and with great enthusiasm!
